Lack of sunshine got you down? Feeling a bit sluggish from the nine boxes of chocolates you emptied last week? Maybe the work grind has you ground? To start 2006 on the right foot, try putting some pep in that step with a workout.

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention Web site, regular, moderate- to vigorous-intensity, physical activity works wonders for the mind and body, reducing the risk of coronary disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and Type 2 diabetes, and reducing depression, anxiety and stress as well.
